Step 1.
Laminated surfaces are always glossy and have a nonstick finish, so sanding is definitely not an option! Use a primer paint as a base coat. The primer will stick to the old laminate surface and create a texture that your top coat can stick to easily.
Step 2.
Once the primer has dried, pick your paint color of choice. Use an angled paint brush or baby roller.Â
Step 3.
Once the paint has dried, you can seal it with a top coat or a protective coat. Use a Polycrylic for durability. Apply at least two coats!
